Q. How do I register for conference and EiD Awards?

Accommodation
Q. Can you recommend accommodation near the conference venue?
A. We’ve secured some fantastic discount rates at nearby hotels. Visit the Accommodation page for more information.
Conference
Q. Will there be any pre-conference events?
A. Yes, save the date for a pre-conference event on the evening of Wednesday 9 September. Details coming soon.
Q. Do I need to bring my conference ticket on the day?
A. No, delegates will receive a pre-printed lanyard at registration which acts as a conference ticket.
Q. What is the dress code for conference?
A. Business casual. We recommend wearing comfortable shoes as some activities may take place offsite.
Q. Will dietary needs be catered for?
A. Yes, please note dietary requirements/allergies when purchasing your ticket.
Q. Can non-NKBA members attend the conference?
A. Yes, absolutely. Please make sure you fill out one registration form per person.
EiD Awards Gala
Q. What is the dress code for the EiD Awards gala?
A. Semi-formal/cocktail attire.
Q. What is the format of this year’s EiD Awards gala?
A. The 2026 Excellence in Design Awards gala is a sit-down dinner.
Q. Will dietary needs be catered for?
A. Yes, please note dietary requirements/allergies when purchasing your ticket.
Q. Is this event only open to NKBA members?
A. Not at all – non-members are very welcome to purchase tickets. Please fill out one registration form per person.
Q. I’m receiving an award or graduate certificate at the NKBA Student Awards (part of the Excellence in Design Awards). Can I invite my family or employer to the event?
A. Yes, definitely! Students who are receiving qualifications or awards can purchase 2 x tickets for the Excellence in Design Awards for only $50+GSTpp. Any extra tickets will be full price.
