NKBA’s annual Excellence in Design Awards recognise the best of New Zealand kitchen and bathroom design.
The 2026 Excellence in Design Awards winners were announced at a gala event held at the Auckland War Memorial Museum on Friday, 11 September. The evening celebrated the outstanding achievements of New Zealand’s kitchen and bathroom design professionals, recognising excellence across a wide range of residential and commercial categories.
The pinnacle award of the night, 2026 NKBA Designer of the Year, was awarded to Natalie Du Bois of Du Bois Design, in recognition of an exceptional body of work that demonstrated outstanding creativity, technical excellence, and design innovation.
