Fellows of NKBA NZ
At the 2019 AGM the following change to the Constitution of the National Kitchen & Bathroom Association (NZ) Inc (NKBA) to add an Industry Recognition status was presented and adopted.

It was agreed that the new status be named Fellows of NKBA NZ. This NKBA status has been created based on a number of applications for Life Membership that have highlighted the need for a recognition credit for specific members who have had a significant impact on the kitchen and bathroom industry over the course of their career for which the Board would like to acknowledge and recognise and who don’t necessarily meet Life Member criteria.

The following clause has been included in the NKBA Constitution .
10.2h To award Industry Recognition to any individual who has had a significant impact on the kitchen and/or bathroom industry over the course of their career and whom the Executive Committee deem eligible for acknowledgement.

NKBA aims to recognise people who make a significant or eminent contribution to the kitchen and bathroom industry, profession, or New Zealand’s kitchen and bathroom industry reputation. As such we are thrilled to be able to offer this opportunity for you to recognise deserving fellow members. More information on the criteria and process for this will be included in the AGM notices on Wednesday 10 June.

Nominations will be called for when AGM notices are sent on 10 June in addition to Board Representative nominations.
Fellows of NKBA NZ nominations will be voted on by the Executive Board and presented at the Virtual AGM. Nominations for Board positions will be voted upon (should more than one nomination be received for any one position) at said meeting by the members in attendance or by received proxies.

Thank you and have a wonderful long weekend.

Suzie
