Designed to support daily household tasks while accommodating regular visits from children and grandchildren, the space transforms the traditional laundry into a hardworking yet beautiful living utility.

Careful planning balances efficiency, storage and comfort. Generous bench space provides room for sorting, folding and linen care, while integrated laundry baskets, hanging rails, open shelving and concealed cabinetry create practical solutions for everyday use. A large steam ironing centre remains easily accessible without dominating the room, ensuring the space feels organised and uncluttered.

The material palette elevates the room beyond a purely functional area. A striking green Neolith benchtop delivers durability and visual depth, complemented by green finger mosaic tiles that introduce texture and character. Timber accents add warmth, while lacquered cabinetry creates a refined and cohesive aesthetic. Scandinavian-inspired hanging racks provide practical drying space while contributing to the room’s light and considered appearance.
